The Ford Explorer is a household name in the automotive industry and has been around for nearly three decades. Over the years, the vehicle has undergone significant transformations, with each new generation bringing fresh innovations. The 2023 Explorer has new LED lighting technology and an enormous sunroof for better outdoor visibility. The 2023 Ford Explorer has several powertrain options, including a hybrid version. This hybrid version has an expected electric range of up to 30 miles, making it ideal for commuting to work or short trips around town. Other powertrain options include a standard 3.0-liter V6 engine and an available 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine. All machines come paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. One significant change to the 2023 Explorer's interior features a larger touchscreen display. The center console also has a smoother, user-friendly design than previous models. The added technology includes an upgraded, more user-friendly infotainment system with features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include a 12.3-inch digital cluster display, a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system, and optional massaging seats.
